Handcrafted using Saccorhiza polyschides (Lightfoot), a brown seaweed abundant along the Portuguese coast, this lamp is part of the studio's ongoing research into biomaterials and utilizing underused resources from the local environment.

As a living material that responds to its surroundings, this lamp is designed to create an evolving relationship with you and its environment. Like a houseplant, it requires care and attention, reminding us of our connection to the natural world.
